I'm more of a giver than taker myself, giving just gives one a great sense of satisfication, something you won't be able to obtain from only taking (even if at the moment I can't afford much, sadly). Giving in a smaller community ensures that you'll know where the games end up with (as you will probably know most if you've been in the group for awhile), with perhaps some like-minded people like yourself.
