I looked at someone else's review and there was supposed to be an opening at the torture chamber. I'll update my review if changing the setting fixes that issue.

I fixed the issue where player gets stuck by the guy in the beginning will apply in an update asap,
which torture chamber were you refering to ? did you figure it out yet?

I set it to Very Low and was able to enter that hole in the wall.

Apparently you're not the only one who complained about the graphic very low option, it's not very wise to keep it,
we'll just keep the "Low", also add description of each button and what they do (of the graphics)
also the prisoner guy in the beginning shouldn't block your way anymore,
an update should be available on steam hopefully within 1hour

The game has been updated, you can update it through steam now..
the first prisoner should be walk-through
and the very low graphic option was removed (because apparently its very very low, makes it a bad gameplay experience)
also the graphic option has now more details as which button will show more info (resolution, shadow, effect etc)
