Still here? Well, letting time be wasted should we not do then. People say that sometimes less is more, but how much is enough of that less? Let's see if you can get something out of this:
YPSFE74UCN
If you are stuck, that's fine. It's OK to rest sometimes and take a look at where we came from. Anyway, what does resting mean to you? I usually watch some horror movies, for example, picking one from the early 2000s. As many great ones were made then as not-so-great ones, so there are options to choose from. And what triggers your fear? Are you afraid of ghosts?
If you are stuck, don't give up, just have a rest. Here, have a nice vignette for your phone
Well this is actually a real cryptography problem. If you want to encode something short, no matter how long the key is, only a part of it will be used as there are no input characters to work with, and the encrypted text would be weaker than you think. But if the roles are swapped and the secret text is being used as a key to encrypt something longer, it will be much harder to break.
So basically what you see here is the result of such an encryption, and you need to find the key. What you need is the text that was encoded (something without spaces) and the cryptography method.
As you see, the encrypted text has letters and numbers in it, so you might need to alter the alphabet.
Hope I have given enough clues.

The movie to look for was Feardotcom. Actually the pecuilarly worded subject of the discussion is a direct reference to it, and a couple of web searches should bring you closer to the movie. Do you like to watch?
The linked image is something I just found, but it turned out to be an unintended reference (see the trailer at 0:29).
The word vignette refers to the Viginere cypher.
Cyphertext = YPSFE74UCN
Alphabet = 0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ (numbers added to the front, like with hexadecimal)
Knowing a plaintext word = FEARDOTCOM
Reveals the key: JBIO1
The correct casing is given by a hint (as many great ones ... as not-so-great ones), so the code for the next giveaway is JBio1.
