Two friends are making a journey in a hot-air balloon. Unfortunately they encounter a storm, get off-course and have to land. Happy that they made it out of the storm alive, they seek shelter in their now air-less balloon and wait until the storm is over. Next morning, just as they try to get their balloon ready for take-off, they see a man walking by. "Hello, good sir, Where are we ?" they ask. The man stops, is silent for a moment and finally answers: "In a hot-air balloon's passenger compartment." Then he merrily continues his way. Dumbfounded by this answer, both friends look at each other. "I bet, he's a mathematician." says one. "How come ?" replies the other. "Well. 1st, he thought a lot before answering. 2nd, his answer was very precise. And 3rd, you can't do anything with it."
