Most card battlers I've played were either multiplayer (Hearthstone, MTG) or roguelikes (Slay the Spire, Monster Slayers), but I haven't played a lot of card games that are story-driven. I think maybe Card City Nights and Prismata could fit that, but I'll have to play System Crash to know if they belong to the same type (and those two games aren't really deckbuilders).
