It was just going off store prices, honestly... except for zeroing out those under $10 titles.... and forgetting about the wolf among us.

I know some stuff is "on sale" over 50% of the time nowadays (walking dead comes to mind), while some other stuff, like Sam & Max, you rarely see on sale... but not as many people care about Sam & Max either, I guess.

When determining value for trades or something, I check isthereanydeal + those gray market sites, sometimes there's a big difference between those two (which in just about any case I can think of would be a key being released in RU/CIS, SA, etc, that isn't region locked).

Game of Thrones is on sale quite a bit also, but I've not seen it at an 80% discount like Walking Dead... I think 60%, max? But that makes things more complicated. =p

I'll be checking the games the winner has, anyway... so maybe ppl should just enter on their own discretion. I guess you can delete games now, but I'd hope someone wouldn't enter just missing a few games, find out they won, then delete some games or something like that, laugh..

I'm guessing the lowest this could possibly go for a 'global' key during winter sales would be $30, but 65-75% would be more realistic, putting it at around $40 for canada/norway/new zealand (barring another pricing error). I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the individual games (like walking dead) @ 90% off... for season 1 and the season 1 DLC, anyway.

That's also some rather bizarre pricing .. only region that follows what I'd call the 'steam guidelines' is Russia. But Strongbad is another game that's been on sale for $5 several times & $10 quite a bit (not to mention bundled, long long ago).

anyway, i'm just going to edit description, and add something about using best judgement. So while I still paid a 'decent' amount for it ($18.50), it's less than half the cost of something like Fallout 4... if someone wins that has $100 worth of the games, but has thousands of bucks in (at least a reasonable number) of public giveaways and hasn't won much at all, I'd probably send the key anyway.... on the other hand, if it's someone that's just given away bundled stuff and has a 1:1 ratio or worse w/ $60 worth of the games, I'd want to adhere to my initial guidelines =p
