ETHEREAL is a profound experience (winner of the Audience Award on IGF 2019 where it was also nominated for its audio and sound design) where you have to find your way within an intricate and abstract series of levels, using different kinds of mechanics that allows you to modify the environment or the direction of your character movement. I was doing my best to find an emoji to represent this game. All I could come up with were emojis for the controls used to move over the walls, uparrow and downarrow. And then for some reason also added an arrow that went both up and down... Of course they were supposed to be actual emojis instead of unicode characters, I don't know why they turned out that way. And this is all incredibly boring.
