A note for the soon-to-be-a-winner: There's a mod that supossedly fixes the stutter, lag and framedrops called Far. The author apparently did the same for FFVX now even tho it seems he had issues in Steam forums because of his beliefs, but many people enjoyed his work. Although there's people who don't need fix because they claim Nier runs just fine without it, I personally have no idea because I don't own the game nor never tried it, think I've failed everysingle attempt so I'm trying to get on Lady Karma's good side :P Sorry for the long post.
