thanks, i bought universe and just started playing the first one. still getting used to the controls...
Controls in Gothic1 are very unusuall, but the game itself forth the pain learning them.
Just remember: Gothic 4 ain't Gothic. Different company, pure money maker.
Risen 1 = Gothic 4
But Risen 1 is a great game in the opposit to Gothic 4. And I'm looking forward to Risen 2. Maybe not good as Gothic 1 or 2 I but I enjoyed Risen alot!
To be fair, Gothic 3 was horrible as well. It wasn't even playable on average PC's when it was released because of horrible optimization and design.
Why that game didn't die before release... It's so, SO FUCKING PAINFUL to see an excellent saga reduced to something like this.
My advice - stick to original trilogy, everything after G3 is rubbish. That said, good luck to any masochist willing to participate.
