Also cheese the less steep cliffs to catch a break! also I noticed some parts aren't affected by rainfall, though that's namely if they're technically not exposed because you're climbing directly under a cliff point or something haha

Oh no, really? in my initial test run on my non-main, ruta was my first since the game kinda pushes you that way, but on my main I actually headed for medoh first 'cause a friend of mine said it was the easies dungeon of them all. and ngl having the ability from it helps immensely. in that run I saved ruta for last because I needed to savour the fishy husbando moments... I even had every shrine completed that I was able to without heading there XD I think I was at 118, not counting DLC, with only 2 being locked until Zora's Domain or something xD

I'm honestly not very good with dodging and blocking, parrying in particular, but ironically when I wanted to show my niece what Ganon is like and warned her I'd probs die cause I suck, somehow I beat him better than the first time. huh.

I'm super horrible with cooking and I'm also cheap. So when the time came to climb death mountain... I sorta brute forced it from the back XD (no buying elixirs lol, no mixing them either) Oh and I had entered Hyrule Castle before visiting the Gorons so I had no idea those long metal lines were mine cart tracks... used the mine entrance by, well, climbing instead of carting. XD
So I went to that crab looking rock and did the shrine, but for the way back it was like... now what. I didn't know I needed bombs for the mine cart right there, I did clue in on putting it on the tracks (alas backwards) and there was like no escaping from there... (I had to google how the carts work to cart into goron city from there, where I bought one piece of equipment, I think torso was cheapeast, to be flame-resistant). Then essentially I went backwards from how the game suggests, and found a dude there that gave me the helmet in exchange for lizards. good thing I didn't purchase that first lol.
All the while eating apples like a mofo to avoid dying lol. It's the Skyrim... uh I mean, BotW way!
I legit avoided guardians all game which... kinda bit me in the arse cause except for the Zora one they all leveled up on account of my deeds, lol. So I cheesed the hell outta that one with stasis just to get some pics of lynel gear for my compendium XD
Also, the walking guardians are surprisingly fun to deal with. Did you know you can chop their legs off? One time I did that, one of them flipped over, and then it couldn't shoot me anymore while I stared at its underside, wondering the hell happened XD Not all of them flip over though so I don't know what triggers that exactly.

I hate how monsters get so much stronger each time you beat a beast. It's no fun at all.. You just stay weak while everyone around you only gets stronger...
Yeah, I know you can chop their legs off. That's the only way I've been able to eat one or two. The withered ones are fun to shoot arrows into their eyes.

I'm not just creative, I'm also cheap, so I always carry a flame greatsword with me for puzzles and regions that require melting ice. Cause who wants to stand there holding a torch of keep lighting bonfires lul
And like, them getting stronger is in part why I spent most the game just sneaking about tbh.Since they get stronger naturally through blight killing I didn't wanna add to that. First times I saw silver monsters was during the DLC one-hit-obliterator quest, and dayum bruh. Since you have to kill ALL the monsters in those areas, I now got some natural silvers around too. I started master quest once and lost all my treebranches against the. first. freaking. Bokoblin. I may retry that again later with more sneaking and stuff, we'll see XD

Just shoot fire arrows. I've got plenty ^^ Took me very long to figure out you can actually light your regular arrows on fire by holding them up to a flame... Things the game doesn't tell you...
I just think it's all too unfair.. It does give a good sense of what it's like to start adventuring in a dangerous world, but come on.. I want to play a game to have fun, not to flee at the sight of every scary creature... And don't even get me started on the blood moon! :P

even better, use a triple bow, light arrow on fire, shoot and collect before they burn. arrow multiplikation :D Since shop arrows don't restock if you got like, idk 50+ or something on you.

Well Korok seeds are registered on your map of course. And chests... Yeah that is a little annoying..
I find it to be rather annoying to explore parts of the wild and go long periods of time without finding a Korok. Then I just know I must have missed a couple. Why are there even so many?! Make the world smaller, then it needs less filler material..

I don't mind the size of the world, I just wish there was a way to eventually earn an item or ability that helps with rain lol. I mean, Ravioli's gale saves you some climbing but for example one use wouldn't be enough to scale Mount Lanayru. So why couldn't there be something that, at least for a short while, helps with rain XD

A weather control thing could have been very useful indeed. Still, I think the world is too empty. It doesn't have to be full, but then it should be smaller in my opinion. I thought Twilight Princess' world was big enough and didn't feel nearly as empty. Plus, you could actually beat enemies in that game...

I think the difficulty of Twilight Princess was just right. Some parts were too easy, maybe, but there were some more difficult parts too. Though I played the game only once, so what do I know? :P

That lil'Sidon memory was part of the Champion's Ballad DLC so if you did not buy that then you may have been missing out on memories such as that one.

I owned DQ VIII before owning a PS2 (tbh didn't bother buying one initially since I could play it on my brother's console instead). I bought DQB for PS4 (because my bro had one) and then got the switch version along with a switch XD I also have a DQ heroes game for PS4, I think the second one. lol. I played Defender of the Future on Dreamcast and loved it to bits. It has its difficulties but the story and the graphics (especially for their time) just sucked me right in. During my 4 years abroad I had a major craving to play it again but when I got home, neither the console nor the games for it were anywhere to be found. Among other things that went missing lol.
So I had to fill that hole in my gamer heart by watching someone's Let's Play. And, i'll be honest, I never completely finished the game, so in that sense I guess I got a tiny bit of closure too haha.
RE: BotW DLC: not gonna lie, I only tried master mode for a bit when I was still green in general, thinking I might as well do that instead of playing it twice, and lost all my weapons to the first Bokoblin and its regenerating health, so uh...
The extra trials for the Champions Ballad were super fun though! And the one-hit-obliterator had me do some decent strategizing. Although I haven't actually finished the final one yet that earns you the bike... tbh I just love riding too much XD
and RE: thirsting over fictional characters, I'm ace af so I'm really more into the romance part over anything physical, but I still demand my games uncensored, dammit! Censoring games, movies, music or art is the biggest BS imo. But let me not derail into that topic. XD

Ecco the Dolphin - Defender of the Future. That was the Dreamcast one. Ecco the Dolphin is the classic 2D one iirc and I think I have seen that floating around on steam.
And yeah Master Mode is... "why am I doing this to myself" mode. I mean props to the peeps I've seen manage to clear it without mods etc. Speaking of mods, there is this hilarious "this is why I play on PC" BotW vid. Feels ancient by now, but as much as I do love playing games on the intended platforms, I can't deny that the ability to mod on PC is coaxing me to get a proper desktop PC. Among other things.
As for Shenpai's Hades vid, the title is "I'M ABOUT TO SIMP" and it starts with her saying his game will be bad for her and not for the reason one might think and it's all downhill from there. Featuring lovely quotes such as "curse you biiiiiiisexualityyyy". Idk I just get a kick out of her thirst somehow, it is super entertaining. I hope there'll be a follow-up video, haha.

I dunno about difficult, I really, really, really enjoyed the freedom! I feel like the 3D movement is a lot more forgiving than 2D. There are some secret caves within caves that give access to 2D style levels, now THOSE were difficult haha.

RE: 3 Houses, the nice thing about NG+ is that you can use renown to purchase skill levels and abilities earned in the prior playthrough, o that's how I was able to start the route with max professor level haha. Thanks to my grinding I am biiiiit overleveled now, but I'm grinding now so that I can fully customize units as I want for round 3 without grinding weapons or classes XD It'll be worth it in the end! I definitely enjoy the game a lot. I mean, even after 30ish hours of grinding between chapters (well cause I knew the feels up ahead and wanted to stall, I guess), I still enjoy it! And I keep grinding. lol.
But hey I appreciate any new FE buddy, lol. Not enough of my peeps play it, and those who do are seldom online. I'm starving for discussion XD

See that's something I would actually not enjoy doing: grinding. I'm not against doing that, it can definitely be fun (trained my heroes in Awakening so nicely.. not that we could beat Apotheosis though..), but it feels so futile if you have to start your game over again anyway, starting from scratch (with some NG+ bonuses).

Yeah, the Ecco surface world can seem empty in the beginning stages, but believe me it gets claustrophobic at times, and quite, uh, alien at others XD But you know, I just loved controlling ecco so much that I didn't even care haha. And that's what matters, right XD
Oh I do have a massive steam backlog but I can't seem to get cracking with it lately haha. Too tired during the week, and on weekends I play switch. In the hopes that "one day..." I shall work that backlog off XD And RE: difficult games, I definitely prefer chill over something needing extreme skill and practive memory haha. Like if I have to memorize a platformer level... that's too much work, I wanna have fun, not perfectly time every second XD
For grinding, it really depends. In my longest played Awakening file I had everyone master every class. Just cause I could. Maybe it's a collector kinda thing too. Catch every Pokemon, have everyone master every skill they can learn. Lol. I guess that is what I am doing with FE3H now, to an extent. AND YES I HAVE SPREADSHEETS FOR ALL MY FE FILES. How else am I gonna keep track lol.
My first FE game was actually Path of Radiance. I had never heard of FE before (save for the Smash collab I suppose) and I saw the game on the shelf and thought "oh cool I can play as animal units too! (More Laguz-type units pls.) And I just loved it so much. When the sequel came out I got that too. And I bought the GBA ports etc for sacred stones and whathaveyou. The Shadow Dragon remake. Awakening, Fates, Echoes... FE WARRIORS HELL YEAH. There better be a sequel to that or else. Especially since they left Ike and buddies out to save him for a sequel. Like, that was my first game. I need representation yo. I love Warrior-style games. And with BotW getting that prequel and spiritual Hyrule Warrior sequel... maybe there is hope for another rount of FE Warriors. PLS. The weapon triangle worked so well for that game.
cough Anyways. I can handle feels. But like, I also wanna savour them if I know they're coming XD I have actually moved past that chapter now. Sadly the map was over too fast for my own good, there was a chest I didn't get to open because the enemies died before my thief got there. But I didn't wanna restart the map either, lol. Downside of grinding but I think down the road it won't be 30 hours between each chapter XD Probably XD Then again, the biggest grind fest might be just before a final chapter or something to wrap things up before NG+ part 2. Just punt everyone with Lissa XD It didn't perform all that well though, I think, and I must say that I enjoyed Hyrule Warriors a lot more than Fire Emblem Warriors. Still, I don't think I'll get Age of Calamity, unless it's really reduced in price and I've finally finished BotW :P
I think we need more games like Echoes though. Would have been better if Three Houses was more like that, a split storyline, than a game where you have to start over again...

Soooo there's a demo for Age of Calamity out. I started playing. I like. Give it a shot haha!
3 Houses DLC gives extra characters to recruit if you finish their sidestory. it wasn't the secret true path some folks were hoping for (since you control all 3 lords in the DLC and they have C-Rank support boost lol), and, while I can't deny i'd love some sort of Revelation style "save all" route, it also makes absolute sense that it doesn't exist in 3 Houses. for all its comedy, war is hell and not having a happy ending route is kinda... real. XD I'm torn about it lol.
You can grind for XP/gold if you choose to battle on weekends, there are some maps that cost no activity points. No DLC needed. How else would I have spent 30 hours between chapters haha. I mean, with the calendar mechanic, you can only stall so much. One thing that would speed up the process was if the auto battle worked for longer than one turn. if I am just grinding weapon XP and not supports, I'd love to just let them do their thing, but alas. even with all animations off it can take a bit from map to map. (looking at you, desert and mountain maps during times I have no flyers and/or mages in training.)
I enjoy Hyrule Warriors and FE Warriors for different aspects. I feel like the mini-bosses like King Dodongo are something that FEW sorely lacks, but then, the Zelda franchise is super item-centric and thus that kinda gimmick works with mini bosses. FE has a little less option in that sense I suppose. (But you can't tell me you don't get a kick out of Lethality-ing enemy commanders lol.) The bond mechanic in FEW is, on the other hand, something that'd be cool for HW. Even if it's just to get character specific materials. (Although granted it woulda been nice if there were no bonding convos for characters from the same game, that was such a waste! Whereas Chrom and Camilla convo was hilarious! And "Marth" meeting the real Marth was quite something. More of that please.)
Both games work differently for different reasons, and I love both for different reasons, so there's always hope for improvement haha. FEW 2 featuring Laguz units pls. Tiki being a dragon was a little bit of a taste of that but I want my tigers and wabbits and ravens XD Or that alleged "BotW Gacha clone" people are talking about, Genshin impact. Imagine FEH crossing over with BotW. I'd be throwing my money at that so hard :D I mean I'm not a fan of gacha mechanics per se, but if that's what it takes to get more of my favourite series I'd take that over the series fading into obscurity any day haha.

I can not imagine a conversation between anyone and Camilla being enjoyable in any way. I'd feel sorry for everyone who crosses her path... Another thing I don't really love about FEW is the constant voicelines whenever you do something. Could just have been a sound effect, you know. Anna is cute though..
Ehm.. I don't think Genshin Impact is a Gacha game though.. Shouldn't there be a random summoning mechanic in place for that? Where you spend all your orbs on an Amelia, only to end up with dozens of Gunters and lots of regrets? Oh wait.. wrong franchise... I would not really want to play an open world Fire Emblem game. Oh noes, teh spoilerz, am sorry XD And yes the demo is fun. And well the weekdays are more or less not playable since it's basically implied everyone studies then. You instruct on mondays, results of studies and group tasks at the end of the week, and choosing to explore, rest, seminar or battle on weekends. Sometimes during the week there might be a holiday event to partake in, or support convos take place (if you didn't manually trigger them during exploration on weekends for example), or a student will ask to join your class. basic social lin... oh wait wrong game.
GI IS a gacha game when you want extra characters permanently but you can technically play by grinding rather than spending money on rolls. Then again FEH works the same way I suppose. Camilla is definitely warped but that's what makes her supports fun (in this game). Like when she and Frederick exchange about what kind of things they do to dote on/take care of Corrin/Chrom respectively. XD But... best character interactions, hands down, is obvs' our fav bi Fates boi. "I volunteer to strike from the rear!" "Niles, now's not the time for that."
And hey I ain't hating on Tiki. I just don't like that I can only play as a dragon in Awakening state XD Awakening Mode and... I think it was Focus in the Zelda pendant, I really suck at utilizing those modes XD even though they can be so darn useful XD

Well basically, Part 1 is common route with the monastery as base, each of the houses has the same chapters, though of course character interaction and motivations and reactions vary. Then comes the timeskip and the war isn't over, you're basically in the middle of it for Part 2. And you still have the monastery as base but it has taken some damage in previous events. However instead of the classrooms you now all sit at war council table haha. However all of the routes diverge essentially beginning with the event that leads to the 5 year skip.
(The social link thing was a Persona reference, since you have to plan around days, school, and bonding with people there too lol.)
And yes Niles be like that. A lot. I find his suave sexual tension is just the right thing to rustle Leo when he's getting too serious lol. He's a walking innuendo and I love him for it. And, bonus points for being a darker skinned character. The majority is fair skinned, which I mean is fine in the overall scheme of things but I do enjoy when games remember there's different skintones haha. Just makes it feel more realistic. ish. And it just suits him so damn well.
Aaaaanyways "Awakening" is a blue bar but it works like the green magic bar in Hyrule Warriors, yes. For Tiki to maintain her dragon form you essentially need to do the same things as in HW, which is keep that kill streak going and pick up blue(/green) potions along the way. Thankfully in FEW there be personal skills that help boost her power because they make awakening mode last longer or fill up faster, that kind of stuff. What I really like is she's initially a white divine dragon but when you Master Seal her she's like yellow-gold-ish. So pretty @_@
Also when a unit is in Awakening state, you basically have a joker on the weapon triangle, because everything gets stunned easier as if you had a weapon advantage. So I have used it in a pinch, when I generally just combo or special my way through. But because of the weapon triangle, if your matchup sucks, bye bye damage. You'll barely make a dent, at least in later maps, unless you happen to have an extremely powerful weapon. Which the main lords get eventually via story, and some DLC characters start out with as personal weapon. That number on the weapon makes a much bigger difference than your level ever will, at least in my opinion XD Level 1 Minerva or Azura can do o much dmage, you just gotta avoid Archers with Minerva until she'S higher level to not get insta-killed. 'cause classic mode and all. XD
I digress. I love musou style games and I love HW and FEW both for their own reasons haha.

I guess the darker skin tone is a nice touch.. but I can't say I care much about that in Fire Emblem. As long as they can fight, they're fine :P
Speaking of Niles. Of all Fire Emblem characters, would he be the one you most likely would ask out on a date, provided that whomever you'd ask would say yes?

I don't have Classic Mode turned on. I didn't think that fit a Warriors game. For a Fire Emblem game it's fine (just reset whenever someone inevitably dies), but for a Warriors game it's just strange.. To me anyway.. Did you go for the male or female lord, by the way? :3
It is rather therapeutic to smash through hoards of enemies, though it's less fun when it becomes too difficult. That's why I didn't finish all DLC maps on Hyrule Warriors. Which is a pity, the 8bit versions of the Clock Town and Twilight Princess themes were pretty nice...

Well the general guess is that regardless of which route you pick, they use the monastery as base again after the timeskip so they don't have to model a whole new area to expore, lol. Which, I mean, I guuuuess. The timeskip designs are interesting in the sense that some are awesome, some are ugh, some are like, normal I guess XD Many an opinion splits here XD But on your second time you can alter the visuals so if you liked them better before or after timeskip, you can slap that on like an MMO skin, haha.
I've also never played persona, but I guess thanks to meme culture I know a lot about games and movies I never touched, lol.
I am a fan of Niles but I still married someone else in my runs. Aside from marrying him once to get the support in my log, I mean. XD And I mean, when you say overly sexual I think more of Cowmilla than a walking talking innuendo haha. Not that he's not attractive or anything. I guess since I too am a walking talking innuendo I can relate.
If anyone I asked said yet to a date, I'd probably ask someone who's a beastclass. Won't ever freeze in winter if there's a nice warm bunny or fox wrapped around you haha. And yet I don't consider myself a furry, go figure XD Kaden in particular, while maybe just a touch of a narcissist when it comes to his fur quality (but who can blame him XD) just has a cute personality with his eagerness to always repay a favour... While I like Niles as a character, I wouldn't know if he'd be a sadist with me, and I am no masochist, so no thanks. (Then again, under the right circumstances, any sadist or dom could be a switch but I don't think I have the energy. I'd be more like... innuendo buddies with him, lol.)
I took the female Lord cause Rowan is annoying /shot. Classic mode isn't that much of a hassle really as long as you don't let any playable character die. As long as you don't take anyone massively underleveled or disadvantageous with you nothing's gonna happen. I think I only ever had to revive someone in classic two or three times. Owain was my first lol. I don't even remember why he died XD But yeah basically in warriors in classic mode you can't use a dead character anymore until you shell out some hard earned coin. Virtual coin, no microtransaction, haha.
And yes, be is smash bros or warriors, it's definitely therapeutic to beat up some pixels. I never finished all the adventure/history maps after finishing the main story, but I basically played in chunks so it wouldn't feel too grindy too soon. Which I guess is ironic given how our convo started with me doing 30 hour grindsessions between chapters in Three Houses, but alas XD You'd think with how much I love Monster Hunter I'd be used to grinding for materials only to not get the one I needed but here we are.

Well not sure if laziness is the word I wanna use, because dev crunching nightmares, but I recall someone saying something like that "why bother designing and coding an entirely new area" kinda thing. XD I wouldn't say there's a lot of provocative dressup after the timeskip, the students' outfits for 5 years later are just called "War" and honestly the only provocative one I can think of is Dorothea, but she is a songstress AND pretty open about trying to grab a rich husband. Petra's does show a fair bit of skin but she's a bit more of a free spirit from a hot home country, think of her as bit more more tribal or outlandish (but still civilized). I can't think of anyone running around inappropriately, haha. I guess the closest you get to seeing more cleavage or what would be class models, but I don't really pay attention to those and everyone has the same models with slightly different colours and their own head on top XD Most nudity you'll find there is in male-only classes like Brawler, haha. So much chest.

Okay, Echoes, like, I legit LOVED the whole dungeon exploration mechanic. Free roaming mode until you bump into an enemy which gives you a mini battle map? Yes freaking please? More? I was also thankful for Mila's Turnwheel but I will admit I forgot it was a thing for most of the maps haha. weird how that works sometimes. It's kinda the same for Three Houses, Divine Pulse exists but most maps I forget about it. Unless something suuuupah serious happens. Like Flayn getting one-shot. Dammit Flayn!

The only thing I don't like about Echoes was that you had to pick either Deen or Sonya.. I did like Deen a lot though.. Delthea and Luthier are just so sweet together. And just listening to everyone's final battle quote still gives me goosebumps. Not to mention the awesome map theme for that stage. Still too bad that track didn't make it into Ultimate.. I mean Lord of a Dead Empire is good and all, but you can't beat Twilight of the Gods...

It has been some time since I went there as well.. That bonus dungeon was pretty cool. And the fight against Grima was pretty cool.. and doable with my Dread Fighters. Or had I overclassed them by then? Probably.. I liked how four of the Cipher exclusive heroes made their appearance in Echoes as well. Was pretty silly and fun as well :)

Oh Takumi is a fine husband indeed, especially since you find out he's not really your brother, and I do kinda ship that precisely because of his inferiority complexes (which are worse when you are M!Corrin, at least if I am to believe a radio play that aired in Japan at one point XD), but then I'm kind of a sucker for the whole healing one another's broken minds and hearts. Which, in real life, can backfire horribly, but alas, this is fantasy escapism so we good. (Plus there's so many lovely TakuKamui doujins out there, hrrrr.)
Honest Game Trailers is satire at its finest. You just don't love something enough if you can't poke fun at it! XD cue "You're not a real fan unless" argument And eh there's nothing wrong with Annette. Compared to some of the other characters she might not seem as interesting but if you play the route of her house, her dad joins yer team, and finding him is pretty much her main motivation for joining the academy. Anything beyond that might be spoileriffic though XD

Yeah, similar to the Sherlock AA, Miles part 2 has yet to arrive at our shores, but what can ya do lol. I've been tiding myself over with the Ace Attorney manga. And maybe the anime, a little bit xD and buying the trilogy for the millionth time 'cause I am dumb like that.

Actually my grandmother came from Königsberg, from a country once known as Prussia that no longer exists, haha The city is is now Kaliningrad and known as part of Russia. lol. Dunno if my steam gives a good look at what kinda games I like though, since I barely play anything on steam atm. Back in 2004, googling it would always lead to 4 results, 3 of which were related to me, and one to a youtube video but I dunno what language it was or what it was about. something arabic or other XD It is intentional that it looks (and to a degree sounds) Japanese cause I'm hella weeb! The problem I have with visual novels is that they tend to force in nudity or sexual content while that barely makes any sense, just to get more sales. Most of the VNs I play don't even have nudity. I know to some people VN = anime smut, and while I don't mind the smut, if I wanna play a hentai game I don't need to read to get to the juicy bits XD However if there are patches for VNs (you know, from back before steam allowed adult content) I tend to want to apply them, because I wanna enjoy the game as the creators intended.
And well that game completion rate is in part due to the fact that I try not to start new games before finishing whatever I'm currently on. some achievements, like for AoEII, are super grindy, so of course I need a change of pace here and there, but generally speaking I try not to play a gajillion games at once. Those 98% do after all not include games that I have 0 achievements in, or it'd be so much further down XD And while I do have family sharing enabled (and nobody uses it still, lol), my account is mine and mine alone!
Nonono I didn't get my name from google. I came up with it myself. What I mean is, it was so unique that back then, basically any time you searched it, it led to me. My blog, my profile on a site I registered, etc. Now when you google it you'll find a lot that isn't me, or people who for some reason registered under my name? In fact I woulda joined steam much sooner but my username was taken for some reason and I was just so salty. Like, I get why accounts named after popular fictional characters are easily already taken, but my name was unique only to me, right? So I ended up joining steam muuuuch muuuuch later. And though my name was still taken (as a login) at least I was able to name my profile after me proper. But definitely still salty.
And yes DQB 1 and 2 are super fun. I mean I played the former on my brother's PS4 before I got my hands on a switch, and I cleared it, so thats another few hours on top XD If you wanna see what can be done in these games I highly recommend BenXCross on youtube. He's German but he does his videos in English. Back then he played the Japanese DQB2 with google translate, and I watched the entire thing and it made me hyped for the game even more. I even made a Japanese nintendo account just to play the demo, since at the time there was no ETA for the west getting the game.
Oh and, I still watch anime of course. Similar to games though, my time doing so has somewhat drastically reduced haha. I do hope to get more time for it once more eventually. Right now seems to be a bit of a transitioning phase in my life so I try not to stress too much about it. I would definitely like to play and watch more than I currently do, buuut I definitely make sure to not completely neglect my fun.

Whahaha, that is one way of putting things XD And I can't say I've played all that many visual novels (though I like them). I do remember playing Nekopara though and I liked the story a lot, but found the "we are in heat now, we need sex" parts to be very jarring and forced. And no, I didn't play with a patch. Mostly because I don't.. I dunno.. want to link Nekopara with sex? Strange? Probably... Though there is one game on my wishlist that's.. erotic.. but you can manually turn that off so.. maybe not too bad :P

Honestly, sexual acts in visual novels are best when it's either a natural progression of the relationship/story (or well, in certain genres unnatural I guess), or when the VN itself is already not taking itself seriously enough. Because again, if I just wanna see lewds, might as well play a hentai game right away. If done right though, it can add a lot to the story, methinks. Just can be hard to find such treasures among the many "adult content VNs" that there are XD
I've been meaning to ask if your name has anything to do with the Another series. Another Code was one of my first DS games methinks and I loved how well they made use of the DS functions, like having to close it to put a stamp on a piece of paper and stuff. As for my name, nope, not translated. I mean I did that at one point to see what it looks like, but that's not how this one came to be. It sounds Japanese-ish but you pronounce the "ja" part like a German ja (or "ya" for english speakers), which is not how one would be reading in it in Japanese. I used to have a loooot more free time, due to various circumstance, including but not limited to health issues. And hey who says I am not watching anime as we speak? I'm just not watching/playing(/binge-consuming) as much as I used to at one point. It's all for self-improvement though. I guess it would make sense if it progressed the story. There is some light nudity in my favourite visual novel (though not visible, just in writing) Narcissu and there it works for the story, so I guess you're right in this. But truth be told, as you also say, if I need to play a sexual game, I'd find something that is meant to be that. Not that I often search for such games anyway :P

If one is as old as one feels, I should have applied for pension during the high school days lmao. And ah, gotcha. I moved out before I was 18. And while I understand the economic reasons it still always baffles me at first when I hear about adults living with their parents still, haha. Like, of course I know not everyone walks the same path in life but at the same time it's just kinda important to learn independence while you still have something to fall back on, rather than being forced to live it because something happened later. I have a weird relationship with food I guess. I mean I really do love it, but some days I don't realize till I go to bed that I didn't really eat anything XD
The stuff on top is dried fried onions. I technically do not eat onions in my food, but those I even sometimes eat as they are. Don't question me XD They're a staple for hot dogs! We call them Röstzwiebeln here.

I do seem quite receptive to when onions are being cut. In the literal sense. My eyes will start hurting and the smell is just ugh. If food has visible onion pieces I try my best to dispose of them. Hate the texture in my mouth. Idk I just hate onions. But the ones you put on hot dogs work. I don't get it either XD
I probably do get hungry but those days I guess I was just so hyperfocused on something else that I don't realize until I'm done lol. Like a good book or a game.
In typical German fashion, I am a potato lover. I love potatoes in almost all its forms. I could eat potato 5 days a week if I had to. But I don't have to so I try to balance a bit more. Also love me some pasta. Carbonara ftw! Salmon and tuna. Sweets are a given I suppose. I don't eat a lot of meat even though I absolutely love a good steak etc. Veggies on the other hand I loathe. Especially tomatoes and cauliflower. At best I eat them raw, if any. Potatoes as you can guess being the major exception. Absolutely love cheese, though I'm on the milder side. Gouda, Feta and Mozzarella are my vibe. As is or melty goooooo-ness, I eat.
Also was that an offer to cook for me? :D I'm a food-mind. You gimme food, I love you forever. Just ask some of my friends, lol. I mean, provided it is food I like of course.

That's too bad! Most tasty dishes I know have onions in them! So you still can't stand them when they've been chopped up finely and sauteed until somewhat soft? I feel your pain on the eye-stinging though. I can have that pretty badly as well..

Oooh, potatoes, eh? I like them too, cooked and/or mashed, fried.. baked is a bit meh, but maybe I don't eat them that way often enough.. Don't like sweet potatoes either. Though I do like sweets. A lot ^u^ I'm a bigger pasta lover though and I don't hate veggies. Except for sauerkraut. That's just the grossest stuff in the world... And cheese... definitely cheese... We have similar tastes it seems ^ -^

Hey, I love everyone who feeds me equally, flirting is optional XD And well I do have a veggie childhood trauma and am only half joking when I say that. To this day the very smell of cauliflower gets my gag reflex in gear.

Actually I tend to forget to eat at work too and when I'm home I'm not in the mood to cook. Basically, the fewer things I have that I can eat uncooked, the less likely I'll eat on busy days, lol. But don't worry, I'm definitely on the upper end of the scale. (Okay that joke was also dumb.)
And see, well, I can stand onions if I don't know they're there. I know they help immensely with flavor accents, I just don't want any pieces in my mouth. It's kinda similar with tomato sauce. If the Bolognese has tomato (and onion) pieces, no thanks. If it's a smooth ride, I'll eat XD

The way to my heart does not equal lovers though. It can be purely platonic! And usually is, as far as people who fed me and are near and dear to me go. XD And hey I always keep an open mind for letting food surprise me. A friend cooked Sauerkraut and it almost had a texture as though it was veggie pasta... but I'm still not keen on eating it again lol.
I like raw carrots and I do make cucumber salad now and then, but these past few years, as far as I can tell, quality on both has declined. Cucumbers are so wobbly now. I need my salad cucumbers perky, not squishy :V It's gotten to the point where I wonder if I just misremember what cucumbers are supposed to be like, lol.

Pellkartoffeln mit Quark is my staple food :D with a bit of salmon when I wanna feel decadent, but that isn't the norm. Sometimes I also do oven potatoes with sourcream but those are only second best. And if I have leftovers from either I use them for gratin.
And now I wanna eat potatoes. And it's not even 8am. You fiend.

Wait Quark? Isn't that the yoghurty substance, often filled with fruits, like berries or mango? How does that pair well with potatoes? Quark itself is neutral, like yoghurt. Generally speaking the potatoes go with Kräuterquark (herbal quark if you will). But yes the potatoes ARE the main dish :D Although when there's food where they are a side option, I definitely get my fill too :3

I may be making a habit out of this when I shouldn't... but nothing beats having a decent computer with decent internet. I am not completely cutoff at home since I still have my old compaq - which suffers a variety of old age ailments - but even though I finally managed to boot steam itself on there, it won't let me log into steam in web and subseqently, not SG. It always fails at the steamguard part. And even though the internet is the same as always, it is a slog XD
So yeah. I guess I have one more reason to go to work now. Peeking in at SG and other places that my old potato can't handle, haha.
