It's always been a money issue for the sequel. Notch from minecraft fame considered funding a sequel for psychonauts at one point untill he found out how much it would cost.

oh I see, never thought of it that way. But seriously they would make a lot of money on that sequel. But I can also see that there isnt much demand for this title anyway. I myself am not too excited for a sequel as there are other games that clearly need another installment. Im looking at you Battlefront 3!
