first i though something like a storm or something, then i saw your comment that it is exclusive to pools.
after that i tried thing that a pool have and may also make some noise(roar). i tried words like drain, hose, pipe, tube, motor, skimmer(whatever that is i just saw pool parts in a google pic), filter, vacuum, pump and some other words like vortex, whirlpool etc but no luck so far
I think my comment may have confused some folks, you aren't the first person to think of a pool as a man-made pool.
The pool refers to a natural pool of water that you might find in nature (including lakes and streams). The answer to the riddle is also (usually) a natural occurrence. I hope that helps!
