I'm confused, how does a Steam key expire?
Comment has been collapsed.
Keys that I have are from a mini-website-store (TheIndieGala or HumbleBundle). They claim to have a right to deactivate their keys after a specific period of time (month or 2).
It's written in Terms of service that everyone reads for sure...

I've read the IndieGala one. Humble doesn't seem to have anything about keys expiring. Are you mistaken or could you point me to where you saw that?
Anyway, my interpretation of IndieGala's meaning is they mean for keys you haven't revealed yet. You have to click the code to show it and I think before that point they can give the key to somebody else. If somebody else uses your key, you can't. Thus, it's "expired". Or rather, your right to get the key from them expired.
