I won the non-Director's Cut version base game from here last year, so I decided to give something related back now. This is said to be a DLC, as I activated the game and it showed as "Deus Ex Human Revolution Missing Link DLC" (package ID 11809). However, technically it's a separate game as shown in SteamDB and counts as an additional game for your profile page.
From what I have seen from some people, it does work WITHOUT the "base game" UPDATE: apparently I have just tested and you cannot activate this DLC without the base game, but feel free to correct me if I am wrong. You may be able to enter if you don't own Deus Ex Human Revolution, and in the case you win I will send the key to you UPDATE: now please do not enter if you are missing the base game as you will not be able to activate it. Just let me know once you activate it (or cannot activate it) by replying at the comment section. As I said, since it's a game I will be able to check your library for "already-owned"/activations, so no need to worry for me about that.

This DLC can NOT be played (activated) without the base game, but people can still enter this GA if they don't own the base game, so be careful! And thank you for the GA!

Yes, you are right. I just (shamefully temporarily, you know that was the one I won on SG; restored right after finishing the test) removed both the base game and this one, tried activating the key I used for activating this one, and it asked me to first activate the original game before activating this.

Also, people who own Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut (which contains this DLC), can also enter this GA, something to keep in mind.

In fact, anyone, including those who don't own any Deus Ex game, are able to enter. I will send the key if the winner has the non-Director's Cut version of "Deus Ex: Human Revolution". If they have the Director's Cut game they will still be eligible for the gift as long as they have the non-Director's Cut and does not have this DLC, since the DC and non-DC are considered as different games..
