Actually, you know what? It's better this way. Yeah, now that I think about it I don't think I would have enjoyed this game. Yup, that makes perfect sense. Like a narrative based game? Come on I don't even play those. Like I've never even played one, heck I've never even seen one. Yeah, you know what, I don't care. This game probably isn't that great anyway. Yeah, yeah. Yeah.
I might be in the minority, but this is my favourite in this series, it doesn't have the super-powers, but it has something more real and very much needed in life empathy :)
Fantastic game! It surprisingly quickly became my favorite in the franchise as well. :D Hope the winner will get to enjoy this great game. Thanks for the giveaways too, just discovered three games because of you. :) For recommendations, well... my top recommendation would have been True Colors or any LiS game, haha! But here are some other recommendations:
Ikenfell - turn-based RPG, there's quite a number of characters that are non-cishet
Tell Me Why - same dev that made LiS, similar kind of vibe too
Not specifically LGBTQ+ (but it can be!), but Coral Island has been so much fun to play! Plenty of romanceable options, and plenty of character customization. It's a great game for people who like farming games :)
I wouldn't classify this in the genre either, but there is an LGBTQ+ character in it. Spiritfarer is a must recommend for me. Heartbreakingly great game.
You've mentioned being picky with VNs, but if you want to check some out, I can still recommend some that I really liked!
I might give you a similar yet different, or maybe totally different - who knows! As a bump in the thread, I want to reply to everyone, but I am using replying as a means to bump without being obnoxious!

Great recommendations! I am not sure when I'm ever getting around to try/play/try to play everything mentioned from everyone, but hopefully it'll happen, it's not like it's the biggest genre out there. Ah, heartbreakingly, weakness.
