The prize is the satisfaction of having removed so many games from your backlogs. I was going to have a very fancy giveaway system, but I scratched it when I realized that would go against what this group is about. Competiting with each other is fun and helps us complete more games (if you're competitive), so I think that's a better outcome than making giveaways, which is why I came up with the fancy ranking system instead. The system still has a few flaws, but hopefully if the next theme hosts decide to use it they will make it better.

I would also like to say that I've noticed a worrying trend where people tend to add more games to their backlog just to participate in the theme (myself included), so where I failed this month I hope the next theme hosts will succeed in making sure that.
