Borderlands is many things but boring ain't one of them! I love the humor in it and the loot system. Once I installed the first Borderlands I didn't play any other game until I beat it. Borderlands 2 though, I got to around half of the game and stopped playing. I might get back to it one day, but since it's made mostly with co-op in mind it's not very fun in single player.
I feel like there needs to be some sort of interaction in coop or else it feels kinda pointless, like by far the best coop game for me was portal 2, or trine 1/2 where its basically diffrent game in coop than solo
i agree, borderlands was the worst shooter I have ever played, I feel like the mix of rpg and fps they did failed at both horribly, enemies are damage sponges and the weapons themselves felt really plastic, played some f2p mmos with better quests than that game as well

The only piece of plot from 1st game that I truly enjoyed was DLC about zombies. Rest was just countless grind for moar EXP and money xD

any game is "more fun" with friends, and the coop barely has any interaction other than playing together, which is just lame
