I actually have an inverse, I also like the WH 40k universe, but never felt a pull for the total war games from it.
Even though I have almost all Historical based total war games.

They lost me for a bit on WH3 with the crappy giant campaign, but they've fixed it a bit since. Not a game to play if you're only interested in kingdom building, but fun fights. :D

What is your opinion on the siege battles? I hear they are basically all the same?
Very low variation on the approach to the forts etc.
Thats at least what I saw and heard in videos from Legend of total war

They've since updated it, but yeah the AI is pretty easily countered once you have a good grasp on the game. The sieges are honestly my least favourite part of the game. LoTW has some pretty hot takes but I agree with him most of the time, and definitely for sieges. Interesting once, monotonous and annoying every other time.
