Hi,
first a thanks for the nice giveaway :o)
Please don't take my following words in any way against you. That are not the intention.
I want to please you that you make no "free for all" GA's under lvl 2+
It's nothing against the real, nice, friendly players on lvl 0 and 1 but on 0 + 1 are 90% autojoiners, bots and extreme leechers (3 years+ on sg, never given anything out or only 1 GA to be on lvl 1 -to access more with a higher rate- but taken hundreds of GA's).
So i think you feed the wrong people with open for all Giveaway(s) under lvl2 without any security measures.
It give many security measures you can use too. By a part you can avoid the lvl2+ and support all the new/low users without supporting the bots/autojoiners/leechers.
Examples: Forum thread, jigsaw puzzles, puzzles, itstoohard, sgtools, hidden text or links, edited links and so on....
When you want give it out to lvl 0 is it possible without problems.
Only use "invitation only" and Create a Forum Thread.
With this way a lot of the bots, autojoiners and other not so nice people found not the way into your GA's (easiest security measure so not perfect but better then nothing ;o)).
By this way i have no statistic numbers because i saved my thread with sgtools too :o)
When you use sgtools (sgtools.info) you can set rules. Partly set a hook, partly fill in 0.5 or anything like that and when you are experienced you can set custom rules where as example all that own CS:GO can't join your GA or only a fixed number can join your GA or only people with a wishlist smaller as 400 ... or whatever else... the possibilities are very high.
I can say the winners are then real players, no 7 days waiting on a hook, they found the word thanks and the work after the end of the GA is near zero.
I give my stuff mostly out to lvl 1, then i can set a real cv ratio rule too (in my case 0.5 = maximum won double of the given) :o)
ITH = https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/g1nc3/ith2-nov12th-still-top-10-slots-to-fill
Here you can see how you can use Questions.
From "Are you a bot" Questions that can all users solve to Questions that nearly nobody can solve ... you set the difficulty complete by yourself.
Hidden text/links, as example when you link a picture and the picture description shows the 5 digits of a GA.
jigsaw puzzle = http://jigidi.com/
Hope that helps. When you have questions i try to answer them.
Would be great if you think over that and look if any of that stuff fits for you too.
Thanks, happy winning and gifting and have a nice week :o)
friendly regards
Masafor

Well. I'm a level 0, and would like to join giveaways.
If everyone did what you say, this website would never see new users. and would ultimately die out.

You are since 2 years here.... so no problem to be higher then lvl 0.
lvl 1 cost you a cheapest game GA ... so maybe 20 or 30 cent from a bundle.
After this GA you are a good part in the direction of lvl2. Congratulations :o)
You can set GA's for lvl 0 too .... with security measures.
A jigidi puzzle can anyone solve, lvl 0 or 10.
Visit a thread can anyone, solve a "hidden" text/link, solve (a) ITH question(s)...
And it give more the enough new users each month ... 90% of them are new bots, autojoiners and extreme leechers (yes we need for sure more of them...).
I think by over 1 million users the "die out" would take a bigger time then this site exists^^
And all in all .... it's your GA so you can handle it how YOU want.
I asked only and give advices. Not more not less.

I kind of agree with you Masafor, especially about putting in some safety-measures, but I do not really agree with what you say about Low Levels, for example: I've been a Level 1 for a long time, and I just do not have the income to permit gifting a lot of games (if any), but I am really happy this website exists so I can get new games to play in a legal way anyway, and I always try to apply proper habits and 'sportsmanship' (not entering just for DLC, not entering if no intention to actually play the game etc.), and I am sure I am not alone in this situation. I do not know if the value of games decreases over time (Iirc correctly they do), or if that is reflected on the contributor level in retrospect.
Maybe the developers of this website could implement some kind of CAPTCHA system? :)

Yes you are lvl 1, yes you won more then you give.
But thats ok, for me, in the way it is (30:2). More when i know that you play the games that you win (not all are worth it -i not play all games but i try to play a part each time when i have a bit of time for playing -not much the last months but it will change in the future-) but it give much games that would never be played and only idled for cards but are good games -that hits sometimes-) because the one's that make the GA's spend money (not from interest how much) and a other one takes then, often, 3 cents of cards and finish. Looks sometimes strange for me (i am not rich too -i own only a i3 laptop as example-).
"Sportsmanhip" have not much people here. I like that too.
The value of games decrease over time and so your lvl drops (sometimes slowly sometimes faster) when you don't give anything out.
My experience with low level users on OPEN FOR ALL GA's was very bad. 90% Bots, Autojoiners, people that not know a thanks and so on. Mostly a combination off all things and not only a guy that forget one time to say thanks.
My experience with low level users at the comments, in the Forum, at my protected GA's are nearly always good. So i make a big difference between this 2 groups of users.
Maybe my words above look a bit to hard against the lvl 0 and 1 users in general and i should clear more that i see 2 complete different groups of lvl 0 and 1 users and only want anything done against the bad one. Then the normal/friendly lvl 0 and 1 users have much better winning chances and have much more fun on this site too.
I was lvl 0 and 1 too and i know how it feels to battle with all that bots/autojoiners for a Gamewin. I know how frustrating it was not can enter so much nice GA's with so much lesser entries. I know how frustrating it was that i must running behind each winner that he takes the Games i buyed (normaly they should be happy to get anything). and yes i am still frustrating over the high infesting with bots and autojoiners on this site.
Because i meet so much really cool, friendly, special users in the forum threads. That act and talk in a complete other way as i experienced with my first (30, 40?) GA's.
So i can give you the advice too join in the community at the Forum, meet nice people as a sideeffect, reach as fast as possible lvl2, that change very very much by the winchances and what you can enter. All lvls above are only little steps. But between 1 and 2 lay worlds.
Have a good day :o)
