"You should" follow the Steam Exchange Rate suggestion chart for countries. It is the best way to avoid misleading about pricing and also a way to keep sales outside the US. Basing all prices on current exchanges from dollar to other currencies had being killed so many releases.

Nearly any game on Brasil uses a dollar/real exchange rate as 1/1.75 when the current rate is 1/2.55

It appears at first sight to be a loss of revenue, but since the dollar based pricing is out of most markets, you lost probably a lot more on sales and mouth to mouth market. Steam is an international platform with digital downloads, but must be faced as physical stores by each country, respecting their following economy. It's like you're here, selling your DVD on a store, but your DVD is 30 Reais, regardless of the average pricing of 20. Not to mention there's no import/manufacture taxes and losses (most of the cases, excluding VAT countries like an example).

I'm seeing lately too many devs being caught in that dollar based earnings fallacy.
It is just thoughts, far away to say how you have to drive your business.
