Thanks for the game, Cavera! Here's a little trivia for you about werewolves:
The first recorded case of a werewolf witch trial was in 1407 (Basel, Switzerland), the last one in 1720 (Salzburg, Austria). Contrary to witchcraft trials (where the accused were usually just women living a life unacceptable to the church and the society), the accused in werewolf trials were most likely afflicted by a psychiatric syndrome called clinical lycanthropy where a person believes (and perhaps even has a physical sensation) of becoming an animal. At least some of those accused for being werewolves were truly guilty of killing and eating humans, typically young children.
Those suffering from clinical lycanthropy might willingly admit to being werewolves and having made a pack with the devil because, given the church driven world view at the time, that was the only way they could explain their condition even to themselves.
