I'm back from my annual pilgrimage to the Somerville Theater in Boston for the 24-Hour Science Fiction Film Marathon, which runs from noon to noon Sunday to Monday over Presidents Day weekend. It's a wonderful bit of folly. We had more snow than I might have liked, but my coats and layers were up to the task. Time to get back to giving games to gamers!
This is an old key, newly revealed, and should work like new. If you have trouble with it, please let me know.

Thanks for the chance! What was the best film you say over the marathon?

It's often the case that old movies, seen again on a big screen with an appreciative audience, are the best experiences. This year the two I enjoyed most were A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), which feels strong and sweet now rather than loose and sentimental, and Her (2013), which was a joy to rediscover - I saw it at a sneak screening just before it came out, and it's a gorgeous gentle film.

I actually don't think I ever watched A.I. but I do recall the hype around it. Definitely never made time to watch Her - have put both on my watchlist.
