Can't you just put the humble link where the steam key would normally go? I've seen others send humble links without needing to be contacted through email.
I raised that question over on Steam group for SG. Humble is clear about how you should gift keys - you must use the gift function.
You CAN use the other method by claiming it and sending it but technically that means it can only be used by me and can't be given to others. I'm uncomfortable with doing that myself as kinda breaks TOS though I haven't ever seen anything come of it.
If you win and would rather I can add you on steam and send the link that way?
What I meant was: you go through the process to create a gift link through Humble, then put the link where the steam key goes. When the winner checks the wins, the link will show up where the key goes. Winner clicks the link and is taken to the Humble website, where he/she is notified of the gift and is able to redeem the key.
Yep, that's the way I do it, too. But I have had the problem, that I couldn't paste the humblegift link for some strange reason (my FF giveaways e.g.).
In the past, store gift links from HB didn't work, only bundle gift links. I don't know if this is still the case since indiegala gift link support (bundle and store) was added though.
