Hooray for being and adult and paying bills XD monthly rent and PG&E have been paid for ... leaving my wallet very skinny and me feeling sad D:

OH WELL! Such is life :) Anyways, paying bills is a reminder that I have a home and thankfully a job that barely supports me, but is just enough for me to get by. And you know what? Life is dynamic, and I won't always be in this situation. Finances are just one aspect of life, and some moments we will/will not be struggling with it. Nevertheless, thank you everyone for being part of this awesome SG community and continuing to give despite everything :)

There's a blog post titled "The Shitty Stuff I’m Grateful For" by Emily Fascilla where she lists all the shitty stuff that remind her of what she has. Here is a little blurb that I find relevant to my post:

1) I am grateful that I have to pay rent each month because my home is safe, warm, and always fun to come home to (thank you lovely roomies).
2) I am grateful for my water bill because hot showers they are a place to warm up when I get in from the bitter outdoors, or de-stress after a long day. On a more basic level – they let me feel clean and confident each and every day.
3) I am grateful for my power bill because Netflix.
4)I am grateful that I have the income to pay my bills with a steady job.
