I will not whitelist ANYBODY because everybody will get the same chance to win as long it's on me and I will not prefer anybody!
So please stop sending in "thank you" messages until you have won - I can't take them serious and I don't like hypocrite people!
You only will go on my nerves with such comments and maybe even risk to get BLACKLISTED (effect the absolute opposite you might be intend).
Um... I believe you are misguided, fren. Nobody posts "thank you" messages hoping to be whitelisted. Most of those are auto-sent by scripters and botters anyway. Some people are genuinely thankful for giveaways, believe it or not. Crazy, right?
Plus whitelisting doesn't really do anything towards anyone's chances of winning, the only thing it's really useful for is making whitelist only giveaways (in which case it does technically raise one's chance of winning, but that's different). If whitelisting had any effect on the winner selection, the system would be seriously abusable, which is why it's not.

Is this so? Im not sure if there is really a higher chance to win if you're whitelisted but it would make sense and I wouldn't wonder and Im sure many people think so as well and so they handle it.
I also don't really care and I know many not say it because they're thankful - sure there are people who are but I know most are not and only want to get benefits!
Im also tired about allways geting messages because of this.
You also say thank you AFTER not BEFORE you get something - at least it's the convention in my country or cultur!
I don't know if you like to get every 10 seconds a message because somebody comented thank you for acctual nothing and there is acctualy a word for such behavior - bootlicking or asskissing in english I think - and I really don't like this and give a shit about it.
I not need it and I also don't care about it so just stop it!
As I said - if you won or get something you say thank you not before - THAN I would be glad about it because I could really see they are thankful but I never got a thx after somebody won! Tooked and gone - you don't need to anyways but it would be a nice act and would be recommended - it would also show good manners.
You can handle this how ever you want to handle this and see it how ever you want to see it when you create a GA but my place my rules ;)
If there are people out there who really let bots do this this only would confirm my suspicion and confirm the fact that this is not well meant.
I also don't want to go on discuss about this if you have anoter opinion keep it I not want to change your world view or what ever I just want my peace.

You can show the thankfullness if you also create a giveaway - take and give / get presents and give presents ;)

I agree with you. I only thank giveaway makers after I receive the gift. Otherwise they just get spammed. I didn't like the spams on my giveaways either.
