What actually happens:

If you purchase the game outside AU, CU, DE, JP, NZ, SD, SG, SY, YE, the key will be present on your purchase page and will activate regardless of your region, even in those countries listed above."
WHAT!?!?! With 2 states in Australia making it illegal to even own I thought the region restriction would be a giant padlock and throw away the key situation.
Yet one silly gun on Saints Row IV which is needed to get an achievement gets blocked and impossible to get ... compared to this game ... WTF Ratings Board ?!? lol
Any copy you get from the Rockstar Games Humble Bundle will redeem everywhere, but since it's a Rockstar game I can't be sure that it actually plays in Australia if the legal situation is as you say.
