Wait, are you saying it's not even a worm for real?!
Comment has been collapsed.
It's actually the larva of the wax moth. But my name has a different origin story. ^^

I read everything! I just don't always respond. But I like your 'conversational' style, it's interesting.

Same with canis, I enjoy reading the tidbits and general posting style. Keep it up! :)

Wax worms are really soft little larvae! And rather cute, at that. I had some Galleria mellonella (greater wax moth) larvae a while back that I fed to my tarantulas. I felt a bit bad for them, but spooders gotta eat! Also, they can apparently eat plastic (polyethylene), so that's a pretty cool superpower. Keep away from beehives though (as they can ruin those)! 🐝
... But I digress. 😂
Thanks to your comment, I really want to see a wax worm inspired candle now. 😹

I could not find that, but I found something else that made laugh:

What in the Greenbrier, Arkansas?! 🙀
I'm imagining the commercial for this thing, with a movie voiceover guy promoting this particular, uhm... scent? 😹

I wonder what your search query was to find THAT! 🤔

I read what you wrote. Like canis39 I don't always respond but still find them interesting. I never buy mistery bundles, the odds of getting something good are always so low it's not worth it to me. I'd rather buy something knowing exactly what I'm getting.
As for the worm thing...

It's like that red panda that's not a panda...

What?

The red panda(Ailurus fulgens) is actually a very different species from the giant panda(Ailuropoda melanoleuca, the black and white one), even if they share the panda name. Ackhually the red panda is a true panda and the giant panda is a descendant of the bear family, and has a much wider diet compared to the almost bamboo only of the latter.
It's just like the trivia that pineapples grow on bushes and not on trees!
