Kind of makes me want the option of removing their entries for posting something for no reason and burrying more important comments under pages of useless one word posts.
honestly, I don't see what's so important about dozens of people all posting the exact same single word for 10+ pages. It just comes off as annoying and pointless to me.
Really, if people were even a little bit more creative then just mouthing the same word as everyone else, I probably wouldn't mind as much.

Well, when I made my first Giveaway, I thought I was gonna flame the thankers, but that was a fun ego boost :p I thought it stupid at others but it looked cool on my giveaway; that's probably because I'm a sheep and because it was my first giveaway. Now I'm bitter again! :p
Hmm, I just don't see the apeal. at this point the words "thank you" mean nothing coming from these people. they don't mean it. they are only saying it because it's what you're supposed to do. And rather then boost my ego, knowing that all these posts are just people mouthing the words they were told to say depresses me and makes me think they don't even care about the giveaway.
That, and it just makes it too easy for bots to blend in. if someone sinks in the money, they could just send in some bots to siphon off a few free games that they can then sell. not all that hard to get onto this site, so a bot account would have little to no problem, since they can jsut spit out a single word post and nobody would be able to catch them thanks to the thousands of other one word posts...

But yeah, I don't know, I would like to have an option to "select" the comment I like (it would be of course an option). Like this, you'd be sure that the game won't fall between hands of a random steamer that just clicked on the gift because it was available, you'll know that the guy made a little effort to write something or show some little interest in your giveaway.
I absolutely agree with you. Then I'm further irked when people just post "thx" or "ty". If you can't even be bothered to type out the whole word, it's pretty obvious that you're not actually thankful.
