Might I be so bold as to ask how much on average was paid for each of those 68 (or more?) Frozenbyte bundles you bought and offered on SG? This could have been a great financial help to the charity -- if it was around the average, then my goodness, it would mean more than $300 for the devs and the charity from you.

Ah. Cool. You know that PayPal charges the recipient for each and every incoming transaction, right? Around 2.9% of the amount you send, plus additional 30 cents. Somehow, the giveaways sound a lot less impressive now.

I'm really tired of hearing this ... Do you really think they are dumb enough to allow those mythical negative transactions. Well, they aren't... Ive gotten the error myself.

But if you don't want to believe me, how about you send this fine gentleman a $5 amazon gift card. Since they don't charge a fee when you pay from an amazon account you will effectively be donating $150 to HiB.

No. I'm expecting him to not give 68 copies (yes, this is not his first HIB giveaway). As simple as that. The only thing he possibly achieved was to save the winners one cent, and maybe a guilty conscience. It's like he's saying: "Hey, people, here are 68 bundles of games for which the developers, bundle organizers and the charity didn't get a single cent, because PayPal took it all! Enjoy, it only cost me $0.68!"

Instead of that, how about buying one bundle and paying, say, at least 2 bucks for it? So that it, you know, at least covers the expenses that are caused by the site traffic, downloads, hosting and PayPal fees.

He's calling him a villain because paying 1 cent per bundle makes the developers and charity lose money. PayPal actually charges fees for each payment due to regional differences. Can be 30 cents to around $2, and maybe more.
