Yeah I did, I didn't even notice it at first but when I did I was like "...lolwaitwut? I won something? O_O AWESOME! :D". Although I actually have to disagree on this place looking the same due to the origin stuff, because it's nowhere near as much or bad as other sites (then again, I have "games I own hidden" option turned on, so maybe that's the reason I don't see much of it lol). Just the fact that this site has that option alone makes it much better than any others as it saves time :D

Yeah, gala has (well had, I HATE the new layout, way too much white and it messes with the info in the giveaways (poker especially)) a good system. However it's biggest flaw is that 98%+ of the games are all bundle games most people already got OR it's desura games (and it seems to always be the same 10 or so games too). I've also checked out gameminer (good site so far) and seems to be a bit decent (though has a few quirks I don't care for, like the "gold" for some giveaways and other minor things), and finally playblink... which is just horrible because of the level system and the fact it requires SO MUCH to gain a level (you have to donate money to the site or an actual steam gift, which isn't the problem, it's the AMOUNT that you have to in order to gain even one level), and then there's the "charity" section where you have to pay cash to the site to even get access to those which are then limited by level on top of that. I won't be sticking with that one anymore (just waiting out for all of the ones I entered, once those are done, I'm not going back to that site).

All in all, Steam Gifts is easily the BEST out there, and I'm loving this site. I have 4 more games I'll be glad to give back by doing giveaways (well at least 3 of the 4 following games: men of war, men of war red tide, and men of war assualt squad goty edition, and Kung Fu Strike).
