Thank you very much ^_^

Thank you, I don't like dlcs much i'm more of a fan of the old add-ons. Looking forward to Heart of the Swarm which is finally gonna be a real add-on to a game again, not dlc à la 20minutes new content everyone could do in 2 hours by themselves on an editor...

If I want the DLC I'll buy it. Season passes are a little of limits unless they mention exactly what comes in it. I was suckered into the Uncharted 3 season pass and when all they gave us was basically old skins and maps from Uncharted 2 I was pissed. I'll pay for newer maps but the old stuff should be given to the fans as a nice bonus for supporting them.

Thanks for the giveaway.

The "Season Pass" itself is just flat out annoying. If you have the extras at the moment you make your game avaible pleeeeeeeease integrate it in the game in the first place. Or if you make a DLC make it worth buying and not with the "if you don't buy it you can't win anymore on an online game because of the buff content". This is my opinion.

Thanks! I never bought any DLC, most of the time it's way to overpriced. Now I think of it I did buy DLC, for Magicka. it has like over 9000 DLC's and the only ones actually worth getting are the extra storylines.

Yea but not buying + online playing = handicap. Most of the time at least. And games like Dungeon Defenders and Magicka where the DLCs come on a conveyor belt there should be some limitation. Make less DLCs, or give it away as a free content! Not to mention Train Simulator...........

Thanks for the chance. And I hate DLC, I enjoy DLC packs like GTA IV style, closer to back in the day when we did expansion packs. But I understand most consumers can come up with a buck or two faster than twenty.

I think if you sell your game for 15€ instead of 10€ but you promise the customers and the community free DLCs and full support, they will be more happy with it than an 5€ game with 150+ 5€ DLCs. But the more convenient method is sell the game for 25€ AND the DLCs for 10€+

Thanks a lot for the great giveaway!! I don't mind DLCs if they bring additional playable content to the game, for example extra levels. DLCs for just extra items and costumes seem pretty pointless to me. If a game is well received, it doesn't hurt to keep it fresh and interesting by adding extra content, if that really expands the playing experience.

Yeah but the main purpose the DLCs nowday are get more and more money for as little effort as they can do. Fortunately there are some admirable companies like the Frozenbyte (Trine, Shadowgrounds) guys doing a very good community support and well-worthy dlc mentality.

Of course it's not neccessary, but it makes money.
Why release a leveleditor if you can sell overpriced maps based on a monopoly.

Why support/patch your game if you can release a new one every year?

Im glad that there are still game developers like Valve.

Oh, and thanks for the giveaway :)

Unfortunately this is the mainstream mentality among the developers :(
Yeah Valve is awesome :)
