Reciprocation would be people giving games to the people who put games up for giveaway, I'm talking about saying thanks. It's not just manners, it's showing that you care about their actions and appreciate them.

Someone open the door for ya? Say thanks, nod your head and continue on with your day. They were being nice, and it is proper to recognize it.

Someone stop your shopping cart from rolling away into a car? Say thanks, shake their hand and tell them you appreciate them saving your bacon. They did a good deed and should be given proper respect for that.

Someone donate money to the local church fund? They're helping the community, you should be thanking them for their generosity.

Someone put their money into getting a game, then giving it out freely to random people who are interested? That's charity roulette, but definitely an act of charity. Thank them for their generosity because they did a nice thing.

This isn't about the egos of those who do good deeds, it's about the egos of those who benefit. The self-entitled nonsense that some people spout around here is just depressingly nasty.
