Sure, but the thing is, there are plenty of other mature games on steam. Plenty of gratuitous violence, sex, rape, murder, etc. And steam already has an age verification for that. You are required to confirm that you are over 18 years when viewing any of those pages, just like visiting a porn site. Requiring someone to log in to view a particular subset of those games (while ignoring all the others) does nothing extra in guaranteeing that you are over 18 or not. It is just steam trying to hide the fact that those games exist, so the media doesn't talk about it.
it is more for accounts that have parental viewing. Sure, there are sex scenes, but not graphic ones. You don't clearly see genitals. If you do, steam should have put it in the label as this is
