Single player 3rd person fantasy RPG adventure, and a great adventure it is! Immersive world second at the time only to the Oblivion engine. The Witcher has rich story, strong in characterization and development, with a nice combination of magic augumenting combat. Simple point and click combat but with a timed swing system which is more difficult than you might think. Quests are occasionally broken in the tree structure and sometimes you are left wondering what is going on. This can be forgiven however as there are many variations of the storyline with some characters or situations being present or absent depending on the choices you make in the game. Something for everybody in this game. Metacritic Score of 86.
