Duke Nukem, Serious Sam, Doom, Painkiller, Quake, Unreal Tournament, Turok and many other classics which I don't have enough time to write them all down.. That was the golden era of the FPS genre! I will fight anyone who disagrees, lol <3

I agree.

Agreed. The "new wave" of old-school-esque FPS's are fantastic too. DUSK, AMID EVIL, Ion Fury etc.
Thanks for the GA!

Heard about Ion Fury, but will have to check the other 2. Thanks for the info! :3

DUSK is, imo, the best experience I've had with an FPS game like that since I first played HL2 a decade ago. AMID EVIL's weapons and levels were very creative. Either or, you're going to have a great time. :)

I don't think anybody here would want to fight a pensioner.

Duke Nuken Atomic was perhaps the best one, because it was the only one to have an actual working editor to make your own levels with!
Man, I still remember how many hours I sank into trying to make my own, but none of them ended up any good or very functional.
Still loved it though, back in the day. xD
