Killing floor is great but it doesn't have local multiplayer haha. I do play it with my girlfriend a lot.

It's rather old, but i can recommend Rise of Nations, we always had a lot of fun playing that. If you're more into coop with your friends, the Rainbow Six series are a good choice anytime. There are a lot more, but you didn't really give as a hint what kind of games you're interested in. ;-P

Oh, I would love to have such games too, but sadly I don't know many like this. The best I can offer is Serious Sam 3 BFE, but I don't really think that this is what you are looking for.
