Hey dude... the key can't be activated anymore? What we can do now?

Nothing can be done if you did not redeem it on time, since as I put in the description it expired December 20, 2024 at 11:59 PM (UTC).

I'll escalate the case to the admins. Ty

According to the rules of Steamgifts, winners have 7 full days to redeem their win. And going by your own statement regarding when the key would expire, the key was already void for four hours by the time you actually sent the gift.
Please take the time to familiarize yourself with the rules and proceedings of Steamgifts as outlined in the FAQ and Guidelines.

Ok, no problem. Of course, a clarification, when I send the password it had not expired. And when I have a while, I will read the rules to remember them, that after ten years, I forgot things.
Regards.

You are right - the key was still (according to you) working for another 8 hours. Due to how you wrote the date/time ("PM" - which I overlooked) I miscalculated the time. Still. in the end result that changes nothing - winner's have 7 full days to redeem their gift after it was sent. Ideally keys should never expire or at least not for 2.5 weeks, should at least one reroll become necessary.
Have a nice day.

Hi, again. I comment on a few things:
The key was still (according to Fanatical) working. " Due to how you wrote the date/time("PM")": It was a copy-paste of the Fanatical website. I use GMT.
"In the end result that changes nothing": Correct, but it is clarified that when the key was sent it was or should be valid.
"Ideally keys should never expire or at least not for 2.5 weeks, should at least one reroll become necessary.": I agree with you entirely.
Looking at Fanatical I just saw that they changed the date when the key expired. It is possible that the password still works.

This comment is not to criticise anything or make excuses, I just like to make things clear.

You'd have to work that out with your winner - they told you that the key didn't work.
Sure, that's clarified, but even then - it's irrelevant that you write it in the giveaway description if a key is expiring. This is considered a "custom rule" - which is neither policed nor enforced nor relevant to us at Steamgifts. The only rules that matter are those of Steamgifts itself and giveaway creators are obligated to provide a key the winner is able to redeem, for which they have at least 7 full days. Just to point that out.
I'm sure you see the issue with expiring keys and I guess our concern with them is the same. But to the giveaway itself such restrictions are just not relevant as they put a layer on top of our rules which isn't "allowed". Therefore the solution for a non working key is to either provide one that is working, accept a not received feedback or ask them for permission to get the giveaway deleted. That though is something that has to be worked out between winner and creator. We just handle the ticket once a solution is found.
Same. I'm just clarifying.
Have a good start into the new year.
