this looks really interesting but i can hardly ever maintain interest in a multiplayer focused game, so here's hoping it goes to someone who might actually play it and be able to contribute in some way to its Early Access development

I feel the same way, which is why I typically don't enter mp only games :/. Another worry I tend to have with mp only games are server pop, especially with indies. The game can be one of the best ever made, but it doesn't mean anything if no one is playing it D:.
