I've actually got both Genesis cartridges (yes, plural; they stack) for this somewhere. Things just weren't the same after he went 3D. Congrats to whoever ends up with this little slice of old school awesome.

Thanks, one of my favorite games that i had on sega, i was fan of Sonic also :D

Really awesome pair of games. Want to say this was where they perfected the sonic formula, and then they lost it. Not that the games what came after Sonic 3 were necessarily bad, they just were not really Sonic games. From what I've seen of Sonic Generations though, it looks like Sega has finally (After what, ten years? I lost count) decided to make an old school sonic game that is not just on a handheld. (Assumptions based off of the first level in Sonic Generations only, since they released it as a short-lived demo and it seemed really solid. They could still screw it up in the second part of greenhill zone)

Mandatory giveaway to enter, Sonic 3 & Knuckles was by far my favorite Sonic. Thank you very much for doing this.
