Hijacking to say you shouldn't be sorry, since Witcher RU is only tagged as such and works in all regions just fine. You can check the cdr ( http://cdr.thebronasium.com/sub/995 , http://cdr.thebronasium.com/sub/12670 ) and see that it only has a purchase restriction, but no actual activation locks. Witcher 2 is locked though. Whoever told you that Witcher 1 was region locked just because it was RU tagged was ignorant and mistaken and you shouldn't have been hassled about it.
