If someone has a good recommendation for a fantasy book about magicians, it would be nice. (I've read HP, Magician, Black Magician triology)

+1 for the name of the wind. It's truly amazing.

Also, check out "The Last Unicorn." It's Patrick Rothfuss's favorite fantasy book, and it's a classic.

Maybe give the Dresden Files series a shot? It's a little bit more modern fantasy, but pretty decent.

Definitely check out the Dresden Files books. Storm Front is the first book out, and there are currently 13 full books, and a bunch of short stories. 14th book comes out this November.
