Hey
May I ask, which user does he mean?
"I seen a lot of insults, partly from the same user over 3 days, and i don't speak from "you are dumb" insults, instead from "asshole" etc. ones."

It's fine really.
I asked not because I'm interested in the interaction itself or the parties involved, but because of the bit about the mods punishing for namecalling.
More often than not, it goes unpunished, especially if the wronged person isn't a pal of one of the mods. At least that's been the pattern for years.
Anyway, have a nice day and thanks for the comic! 😊

Sorry but why are you still talking about this? :)
There's no need to since you already chose to not talk about it earlier and already deleted your comments as you said, so I don't want to talk about it further.

[This reply turned out to be way, way longer than intended.]
I 100% support you keeping or deleting your own comments. I have absolutely nothing more to add to that because it's a moot point.
You may have experience as a mod elsewhere and that's great -so do I, by the by- but on SG it's a whole different thing.
About mod favoritism on SG, it's far more than implied; I outright stated it. It's been proven with many instances throughout the years by different mods and with different users. SG is infamous for it among other problems.
On a related note, that's why I was astonished to see someone quickly get punished for namecalling here (and why I inquired about it). It happens but rarely and there's no real reason or rhyme to when or why. Some get punished; many more don't. Sometimes it takes years for SG mods to handle a problematic user, even one who is blatantly racist. Here's an example: https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/kX23K/new-steam-store-regions-latam-middle-east-north-africa-in-usd-live-now#FGN4UEN
Another example of mods failing to respond or take action against derailing and incredibly rude, namecalling users:
Insult 1: I have a wonderful happy life to be upset about such garbage as you))))
Insult 2: Just go away moron, Youre so toxic and spoiled that even you cant control it.
I rarely comment and even in these few times some people still get nasty and try to troll. Very recent example: https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/6KIZY/so-out-of-nowhere-ghost-of-tsushima-directors-cut-has-been-blocked-for-purchase-in-my-country#TBbiMok
This here isn't punishable and shouldn't be but gives you an idea of why many users here don't come near the Discussions or rarely bother participating in any.
If you wish to go down that rabbit hole, feel free to search the discussions. I wouldn't recommend it though; it's not exactly a pleasant experience reading some people being obnoxious to others.
No, I don't want to discuss it further because it's just a headache really. This is a website for gifting games but sometimes the Discussions are an animal of their own and ruin the spirit of the place imho.
In short, I wanted a piece of info, you declined, we were both pleasant about it, so end of story for me.
Have a pleasant day/night.

I think you have to much personal involvement in these cases to be objective.
Think about this: if every time you post there is a problem, what is the common factor in those situations?
Comment has been collapsed.
I think you have not objectively read any instance of the many examples being presented to you.
Your insinuation that the problem is me is laughable at best because
(a)
there are way more examples from other people but I'm not going to search high and low and message these people to get you links.
I invested enough time already and got you three examples yet your response is "No u".
(b) I've had plenty of great exchanges here.
The ones I've listed for you are some of the only times in over a year and a half of commenting and posting topics on here (check for them yourself; I won't waste anymore time) that I was involved in someone else's BS.
Your false "if every time you post there is a problem," is utterly ridiculous.
1.
The example with the racist fellow making fun of people being killed in the thousands had nothing to do with me, yet you ignore it.
There are many others in that thread who called him out on it but you see it as an indication of someone else, not the racist, being the issue?!
Oh, he got suspended for two days by the way. Then immediately came back with rudeness and a mod had to intervene, again. No one else in that thread did.
But according to you. he's not the problem?!
He is and from reading your apathetic response now condoning his overt and disgusting racism, so are you it seems.
2.
The example in the IndieGala topic is about a trashware dev using the topic to dump his non IndieGala trashware in a post specifically for IndieGala-won games. Then he gets mad and incredibly rude when it's pointed out.
Again, not his problem but the person who endured his insults.
3.
Last example is one ridiculing the description 'staged' about a comedy clip while ignoring the issue at hand again, and the other chiming in a nd trolling.
Funny how it's not the aggressor's fault in your faulty opinion.
You acted high and mighty all "oh no I don't want drama" earlier but now it's just you not even reading what's right in front of you and discounting actual proof for what exactly?
Are you gunning for a mod position here in the long run and that's why you're talking as if a mod is over your shoulders? That would be really sad and you'd lose a lot of respect from people.
I can show you the way but I cannot open your eyes for you.
I won't be responding further since you barely skim through it anyway.
Feel free to avoid me because I'll try my best to avoid you :)
P.S. You mentioned earlier that you removed your comments replying to me from before.
You must have me confused with someone else. We exchanged exactly two short comments before and they're still there.
At least your lack of focus might explain why you cannot see the obvious.

I started to read your last post, but I quickly realized that there is nothing to be gained.
I am not interested in continuing this conversation.
I wish you well.
