Was not a fan of the change in theme. The sci-fi + fantasy combo of Quake was awesome. Quake II was just Doom 2.5.

I believe for my generation the atmosphere/design/uniqueness of Quake was something else compared to Quake 2. Both games great and all FPS world should It is like accepting fallout 3 as a sequel :P (BAITTTTT)
