So look, I don't know anymore if you can accept a gift from me. Canada cannot gift into Poland, that is for sure. So please, consider taking a look at the price difference between my copy of the game and yours and seeing if it a big one. If it is, you probably cannot haz gift. I'll have to request a reroll if I cannot give the game to you.
A great grandfather died in World War 1, another was injured, a great uncle lost his lower legs in World War 2, a grandfather became a raging drunk with shell shock there, my father served as a field medic for the better part of a decade...
My family has gone through some shit in wars.
I cannot say I would ever be willing to go to war without a worthy cause, it is not in my nature, but I am proud of the family members I have that have done so.
Hats off and heads down for your moment of silence on November 11th, listen to the bagpipes.

Poland (and quite a few other regions) is getting regional pricing on Nov 13th, so gifting restrictions may change - at least I hope that we will get a bit lower prices. The Euro region is the most expensive, so it can't be worse, right?

Leaks say Poland will pretty much just get USA pricing with straightforward currency exchange (so, game for 1USD will be for 3.6PLN), which would mean around 20% cheaper games compared to current ones.

Well that's better than now, though I'm still hoping for 1/3 cheaper or so.

Thanks for reminding me of this occurrence (I'm Italian so we don't celebrate), honor and respect to all the people of every nation who died and suffered horrors in any war.
Btw, some years ago I had a chance to visit a small WW2 Commonwealth War Cemetary in Milan, where a few Canadians are buried too.

You can easily compare the regional prices by using the SteamDB.

I'm anti-war, but I do respect those who have given their lives doing what they believe is right.
Thanks a bunch for sharing this really nice game chronic =D

Well. Thanks for their service. Yes.
Shame that i cant join due to those price region thingies :/ [Ya should look up steam gifting cards perhaps instead of changing your winner? Yes?]
Yes.

Seems like the canadian price is C$ 19.99 (=€ 13.54) and in Germany its 16,79€ right now, so I guess its best if I dont join. But still thanks for the awesome giveaway!

Well according the steamdb there are not many countries within the 10% price difference rule, so good luck :D
I guess making a region restricted giveaway would have been advised.

Thank you for the giveaways! My grandfather fought in Vietnam and suffered from PTSD the rest of his life, don't really know much about my family further back than my grandparents.

My family haven't sacrificed like yours has, but I have done work for many veterans - if that counts for anything.
Thanks for sharing 3 copies!

If these are old inventory gifts from before the changes, I think maybe you can give it to anyone (as long as the game itself is not region locked).
If you're buying a gift for the winner, then USA is a no-go at least, looks to be 14% higher than Canada, thanks to the exchange rate, so I shall not enter, but I thank you nonetheless :)
My cousin fought in the Operation Desert Storm in Iraq.
My father and 3 of his brothers fought in the Vietnam War. My father lost most of his hearing in one ear because a grenade exploded near him and a piece of shrapnel went into his head.
My grandfather was drafted into the Army in World War 2 but Hitler committed suicide just days before my grandpa was supposed to be deployed to Europe. He used to joke that Hitler must have heard that he was coming, so he decided to end it. :)
My great-great-grandfather fought in the US Civil War and once battled against Quantrill's Raiders.
Thankfully, they all survived.
