So, in other words, it is a 20-dollar game that lets you view otherwise freely downloadable JPEGs of Dali's paintings, but with a VR headset.

You can watch the video of your favorite singer on YouTube or buy the album on iTunes or go to the concert.
It is all about the experience that you wanna get. VR helps you to look at things from another perspective.

Hello Talgaby,

I'm one of the developers at Greenfield. I saw your post and just wanted to give you some insight on why it is priced at 20$. The cost to for entry into the physical Dali17 is 20$. When you buy/win with the app you can view over 280+ pieces of art as often as you would like. Think about it like having your own private museum in your living room. Most of the artwork also has an audio tour to help you gain context for the artwork.

We spent months scanning high-resolution versions of the artwork and created some beautiful architecture to display the artwork in. While you can look at the artwork in a web browser we believe that this experience is much more. We also have some fun bonuses like one of Dali's space elephants that will guide you thru the museum. You can also step inside a 3D version of "The Persistence of Memory" this is only possible with VR.

Our goal is to create many more experiences similar to this one allow people all over the world to view/experience different museums from the comfort of their home.

Heh, look, I remember when some CD-ROM "games" were nothing but 320×240 16-bit picture collections of the works of photographers, painters, and other artists, priced as any other actual game. I am actually just surprised that this trend even exists in 2017 still. =)

I just upgraded my computer so that I can run VR at the best settings possible.
Now, I am saving the $$ for the actual VR set.
So i'll say thanks here for all the chances at this, especially the higher level ones!!
Appreciate it!
