Battlefield: Bad Company 2: Vietnam is an expansion pack for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and an indirect sequel to Battlefield Vietnam, borrowing heavily from it while still retaining the core gameplay of the base game. When playing the expansion, players are not allowed to utilize their unlocked modern weapons or specializations used in the base game.

Thanks for the great post. I wrote in the descroption that BFBC2V is an expansion pack for BFBC2 and I thought that SG supports this functionality. If SG does not support this functionality then I will have to do what PeteOzzy sad and reroll.

Yeah, you did everything good on your end. Nearly all DLC giveaways on SG check your account for the base game before allowing you to enter, but for some reason this particular one is borked.

I have the feeling it will cause an issue anyway.
I already have that expansion and yet I still could enter (though I refrain from doing that).
Means you can enter it but the system probably will still suspend you because it can't recognize it.

I won't enter cause it's been WAY too much time since I last played bf:bc2, and the bf series at all.
But thank you for giving away such a great DLC, from the times DLC's wasn't overpriced and was actually not part of the original game, but an EXPANSION to the game.
Those years were truly good times to be a gamer . What have we become . When did we abandoned the way of gaming .
