I have an odd answer for this but. I would never release a game if I didn't brlieve it could be fully enjoyed in it's current state (Obviously not by everyone) and I think adding early access is like saying "So it's not enjoyable but I promise it will be one day" but there is no way to know if a developer is lying. So I don't want to give higher expectations than I can deliver. If you like the game, buy it. If not grab a refund and maybe check back later.

Every early access game I've played ended up abandoned and everyone was sitting there like "But I thought it was going to be improved!"

Plus it's an easy excuse "This is terrible" "Yeah but it's early access!!"

Why the "lol"?

Yeah the main consideration was server costs. I don't wanna have one of those games that shuts down after a few years, plus I plan to support it with regular updates over the next few years.
