Edit: Hmm. It's a weird one. It activated as "Jagged Alliance 2 Complimentary", and added "Jagged Alliance 2 Gold: Unfinished Business" and "Jagged Alliance 2: Gold Pack" to my library, both of which link to the Jagged Alliance 2 Gold page, but when I go to the page linked to this GA it still says I don't own it. Must be something about it being a package maybe? I don't understand this stuff! Anyway, thank you again, Delisper! :)
mm, so did you check it through sgtools? to see if it shows as activated?
If it still shows as not activated I will ask support to delete the giveaway. Otherwise there might be issues with other giveaways with sgtools entries. Let me know how that goes.
And part of my issue with buying a game I already owned was that it still showed on the list of specials that I did not own it...:(
Since the game still showed on my wishlist too I bought it on GamersGate and only realised when I got the "you own this" message. So yes, maybe there is an issue with the game being part of a pack.

Just checked your Steam profile...can see that you have the game in your library. Maybe sync with Steamgifts and check in a day (after exiting the steam client and logging back in). If it still shows as not activated after all that, will ask Support for help, maybe delete the giveaway. Either way, hope you enjoy the game :)
Aha! It's all good. It's still not showing as owned by Steam, but it is in this list on SGTools.info when I check my own username:
"Games that are well-known false positives and have been whitelisted in the tool
All of these are most probably activated, you just have to check if the user owns the base game for entries that are goty, deluxe, complete, etc..."
So it's all good; I'll just have to remember that I now own it so I don't buy it for myself, too! ;)
