Hey guys! I'm the developer of this game. Knightin'+ is a classic zelda-like adventure where you have to explore dungeons, solve puzzles, unlock new abilities and, obviously fight. It's 20% off on Steam now. Free demo is available too.
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

I think this is one of those games I wishlisted just from how jamming the soundtrack in the trailer is. Game looks good too! Massive props on making all this as a solo dev.

Thank you. I've put a lot of effort into pixel art. As for the gameplay, there is a free demo too. You can check it out if you want. And good luck!

Thanks for the Demo and the GA of course :D. Too few devs provide them these days.

Be warned! I already have it and would be able to enter the giveaway if I didn't get it by winning from you in the first place.
I didn't beat it yet, having switched to real-life stuff near the boss of the third world, and have to say that what I saw so far was heavily enjoyable! Calling it Zelda-esque could be misleading though: this game doesn't feature an overworld, or cheasy characters, or any plot that's worth mentioning, and is instead a collection of four vast Zelda-esque dungeons. You can find upgrades in the dungeons, so the character progression is there, and the dungeons are interesting, with puzzles ranging from those that are solved on the spot to those that require about 10-15 minutes of thinking, so I still recommend getting the game, but I know I initially expected something with more variety.
Great work! I will write a review recommending the game after I beat it in case the game doesn't get atrocious at the end (which happens).

Hey! Thanks for the detailed review. Hope that you'll find the last dungeon enjoyable too.
I also made a guide covering all the major puzzles few weeks ago (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1848450088). Feel free to use it if you just want to make a quick run to the finish line :)
Looking forward to hear your thoughts after you beat the game!

Looks rad, maybe the new steam discovery platform will actually give it some exposure...

Wishlisted :) thanks for the giveaways and good luck with your game! I grew up playing Adventure on Atari and Zelda on NES.

Thanks for the support :) Atari wasn't popular in my country during 90s but NES and Sega were important parts of my childhood.

I don't hold any nostalgia for Zelda games, being more of a ZX Speccy and Sega child, but I still instantly wishlisted your game after catching it via that new Deep Dive thingy. Major kudos for keeping this action-puzzley ball rolling. And oh, that creative use of weapons in the trailer. Yum!

Bought it, so backed out.
Hoped it would have been a bit longer though, but i saw an achievement of completing it in 90 minutes. :x

Thanks for your support!
How much did it take you to beat it? I know that the first playthrough takes around 5-6 hours on average (if you don't use any guides and solutions of course).

I haven't beaten it yet, i just looked at that achievement and was worried that the whole game was so short) like The Little Acre also a nice adventure game but when it had an achievement of beating it in 1 hour and that game was overall really short too.
I am like on the third level, but well good to know a normal game would last 5-6 hours hope that achievement won't be realy tight (hard) then when it comes to time.
I got 8500+ games so it feels a bit like juggling keeping up a lot of balls in the air but then with games to play. This game suits itself for some quick rounds/short breaks.

It shouldn't be hard once you've beaten the game at least once because you'll know the optimal routes and puzzle solutions. 100% speedrun takes me around 82 minutes so I rounded it to 90. I don't like too frustrating achievements.

Very good to hear some games can be too frustrating yeah. :)
Thanks, will try to get back to it this weekend.
