[still apologizing for bad English]
Accidentaly I realized that today is my cakeday, so lets do a wave of (bundle leftovers) giveaways!
Obligatory [rainbowlist] question:
What is the best book you have read recently? I mean really, really great book, with well-written plot, interesting characters and something intense which you couldn't even name.
Warm-up:
I'm in the middle of "Mr Mercedes" by Stephen King and it's trully gripping crime story, but anything I've read in last half of a year just can't beat "Boy's Life" by Robert McCammon. Seriously, every page of it was like huge cup of homemade hot chocolate.

The best books I recently read were "The Lunar Chronicles" by Marissa Meyer. I've read the first three and are currently absorbed in the final book of the series.
There is not one character I don't like (except for the villain, and I admit it, she's damn good at being bad). I like the fairytale-touch, the Sci-Fi setting, the character development.
But most of all, I love the diversity of the characters. Not all are white, not all are perfect. But neither do they initially hate each other, nor become best buddies instantly. Each has their own goals and yet they work together for the greater good.
For me, these books are the cup of sweet hot chocolate. They make me get lost in another world.
I guess they are not what you expected but well~ maybe a fell in love with them because so many other YA books have horrible main characters.
But I'd like to name my all time favourites as well.
"Cry to Heaven" by Anne Rice and
"The Lure" by Felice Picano.
Both are books that I've read multiple times and they never failed to enthrall me.

Reading SWTOR : Fatal Alliance at the moment. Almost finished, and liking it so far. Wouldn't call it ground breaking, but would recommend as a light read.

Redeemed and marked as received, thanks a bunch :D
Enjoy the rest of the week.
Regarding the question, I haven't read that much lately besides the usual internet stuff.
Right now I'm much more into audiobooks. The latest one is from Kristin Cashore.

Have fun with the game :)
I use audiobooks mostly as some kind of lullaby, sometimes it's hard to focus on it :D
